The short version: Baseline is a simple, private log for your own blood-sugar readings — not a medical device and not medical advice. Use it alongside your care team, never instead of it.
These terms govern your use of Baseline (“the app”), published by Erised Development Ltd. By downloading or using the app you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.
Baseline records the readings you enter. It does not measure blood sugar, diagnose, treat, or recommend doses, and it is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always follow your doctor or care team. In an emergency — a severe high or low, confusion, or fainting — call your local emergency number. Estimated A1C (eA1C) is an estimate derived from your entries, not a lab result.
Your readings stay on your device and in your own private iCloud; we don’t collect them. See our Privacy Policy. You’re responsible for the accuracy of what you log and for keeping your device and Apple account secure.
Logging is free. Baseline Plus is offered as an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or yearly, with a 7-day free trial) or a one-time Lifetime purchase. All purchases are processed by Apple and are also subject to Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement (EULA). Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends; manage or cancel anytime in your Apple Account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple.
Use the app only for your own personal, lawful purposes. Don’t attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or misuse it.
The app is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Erised Development Ltd is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any health decision made in reliance on the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
We may update these terms; we’ll revise the effective date above when we do. Continued use means you accept the updated terms.
